Meet Gunner! Here's what Gunner's family had to say about how's he is doing now,
"Gunner, adopted in 2021, quickly became a cherished member of our family. He loves belly rubs, and exploring the outdoors, but his true obsession is playing endless hours of fetch. Gunner's unwavering loyalty, always by your side makes him an ideal companion. We're grateful to have found such a loving furry friend who has seamlessly become an integral part of our lives." Thank you for being such good dog parents and making sure he is apart of your forever family! I have a success story . I would like to share. We have had Gretel for six months now. She has become a part of our family. She gives all kinds of love including hugs. She has a ball that she loves and bone she chews. She has become protective of me and my wife. My wife has a prosthesis leg and Gretel is very good with her.We run and play and have fun. My wife fell down the other day and Gretel stayed there with her. Gretel helped her get up
P.S. thank you Fort Morgan humane society for giving us Gretel "We adopted Dexter to be a late-life companion to our 12-year old, also a rescue, pointer mix, who’d gone into major shut-down depression after losing her life-long best buddy. She and Dexter bonded immediately and he became her protector and also added three years of happy puppyhood to her life. Dexter is truly (and I know everyone says this) more than a dog. He is by far the gentlest dog we’ve known, and we’ve had a dozen rescues over two decades. He is also intuitive and empathetic like no other. We are convinced he’s not dog, but angel."
Thank you so much for the update! We love to see how our rescue dogs live a wonderful life. Thank you for taking such good care of Dexter! Remember Tootsie!?
This Girl, was adopted Oct. 5th, 2023! She was at the shelter for almost 5 months. Until her forever family adopted her! Here is her update! "She’s a chunky but healthy girl she’s been to Texas twice, loves horses and cows has 3 cousins she loved to play with! She is truly a blessing to me and I am so thankful we found each other!! so thank y’all!!" We are so so so glad she is with her forever home forever! Thank you for taking care of her Victoria and family! On Fox 31- Nov. 24. 2022 by: Gabby Easterwood
I, the content creator of the Fort Morgan Humane Society’s Instagram, took home little Oakley when he was still being bottle fed after the article about the store came out. He has been with me since. I officially adopted him at the end of July. And is the king of the house, loves to play and cuddle. He is one of a kind! I can wait to see him get bigger as he fits more and more into my family! Sending love from Oakley and I!
Sunday’s Success Story from the Bauer’s: Our family adopted Camp in February of 2021. We had always said we were not going to have dogs, but my husband, Thor, changed his mind and surprised me by pulling up to the Humane Society one day. By that time, he'd already been working on this adoption for a couple months. He told me when he saw Camp for the first time, he told the employee, "That's my dog." Camp's original name was Cocoa, but Thor wanted to name him after the fishing lodge that he and his dad used to go to when he was little. Needless to say, it's a very special name. From what we understand, Camp was put up for adoption because his original family was in a situation where they had to move, and that location didn't allow pets. I feel so badly for them, but I can't help but feel incredibly fortunate for us. He has changed our lives for the better! He brings us so much joy, and I'm happy to say that he's the most spoiled little dog in the world. And the cutest :) |
