"Update on Chewbacca: I love scratch pads to stretch my nails, I love soft food mixed in with my hard food, I love giving my Momma loves and I love staring at her. I love riding to grandmas house for visits, I’m very verbal, especially when I can’t find my mom, I love to cuddle and give kisses, and I love hanging outside at grandmas with my cousins. I’ve gained weight and my ear is getting much better. I’m a happy kitty."

Hello!
I thought it would be nice to send you all an update on Rezz (formerly Chip). It's been close to a year and a half since we adopted him, and he's honestly been the biggest blessing and SUCH a good boy. He's made loads of new friend and has even gotten to go on road trips to Missoula, MT and Aspen. He's extremely intelligent, a huge cuddler, and there isn't a mean bone is his body. Thank you so much for bringing us together . AJ "Max/Buckaroo is living his very best life!!! We talk every day about how perfect he is in every way, especially considering what he had to endure in the beginning of his life. He gets walks every day, sleeps in a bed every night, and receives tons of love from his human and puppy family nonstop. He is just a few days away from his new home being ready and moving back to CO where his fur belongs, and we keep telling him he’ll be able to be nice and cool and explore the wilderness like his wolf ancestors! We are so appreciative of Fort Morgan Humane Society for saving this sweet boy and taking care of him for us, because he is the doggy of our dreams that we’ve waited our entire lives for!!! "
Sunday success story!
“I adopted my Chihuahua/whippet, Mega Byte, from the Fort Morgan Humane Society in March 2011 and my cat, Lucy Busey, from there in June 2011. They are both 14 years old now. Mega Byte aka Meggie (although the oldest) is the baby of the family. He loves to help garden and believes he is a cat. He enjoys tickles, blankets, playing with his kitty siblings and his dog brother. He is a mommy's boy and has to be with her all the time. His favorite treat is cheese although he's not allowed it all the time. Lucy Busey aka Goose is the family princess. She won't allow anyone to pet her unless she smells their head first and approves of them. She loves having her picture taken and will pose. Her vet has said she could be a model. When she isn't busy ruling the other animals she enjoys "playing" video games with her humans and "reading" with them. She loves being brushed and being called a pretty princess. Tuna is her favorite special treat." |
